DENTAL PRACTICE ACCREDITATION

The voluntary Accreditation program is an incentive for dental practices to adopt the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards into its services. First established in 2011, the NSQHS Standards are designed to protect patient’s health by enforcing the highest possible level of safe practice.

Western Endodontics was the first specialist endodontic practice in Western Australia to be awarded full Accreditation against the NSQHS Standards, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care and infection control.

By choosing an Accredited dental practice, you know that you are receiving treatment that is in line with the highest national standards of care.

What is QIP Accreditation

Qiality in Practice Accreditation involves establishing a culture of quality and patient safety as well as actively reducing risks both clinically and throughout the practice in general. All staff have received the necessary education and training to make this possible, and the practice as a whole is dedicated to constantly re-evaluating and improving upon this high standard.

What it means for you

An accredited practice means patients can be confident that the staff are educated, engaged and dedicated to the implementation of systems and improvement of dental procedures within the practice.

What does it mean for the practice and staff

The practice is committed to long term lasting improvements in the policies and procedures that ensure a dedication to quality, safety and superiority across all standards

The accreditation is an independent assessment of the practice based on criteria and a set of standards that all practices can be judged against.

Accreditation provides assurance to our patients, staff, and everyone associated with Western Endodontics, that outstanding performance standards have been met and are being continuously evaluated and improved upon.
