Dr Tim Silbert obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science Degree from the University of Western Australia in 1991 and then joined the Royal Australian Navy where he developed further his clinical dental skills. In 1997 he went on to undertake a full time Masters program at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Masters of Dental Science in the area of Endodontics.

In 2000 he returned home to Perth, transferred to the Naval Reserves at the rank of Leutentant Commander and established Western Endodontics.

He is a member of Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Field of Endodontics, and a foundation member of both the International Academy of Endodontics and the Western Australian Dental Specilaist Society. He is also a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology, the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, International Association of Dental Traumatology, International Team of Implantology, the Australia Osseointegration Society and the Pierre Fauchard Society as well as the Australian Dental Association.

His aim in creating the practice was to provide care for patients in a supportive and compassionate environment with a view to long term success in treatment.

He enjoys exercise having particiated in the Rottnest Swim in both teams, duo and completing a solo swim, as well as participating in marathons (at his pace it isn’t so much competing, more participating).

Nicola Burke

Nicola hails from the South Island of New Zealand and whilst on her world travels she found herself in Perth in 1999. She worked in a variety of innovative dental practices over the following years before joining Western Endodontics back in 2009. She returned to studies in 2011 to complete her qualification as a Dental Hygienist and ultimately we have been fortunate to have her back part time on completion of her studies.

She enjoys sport and travel as well as the opportunity to combine the two, and is a frustratingly loyal All Blacks supporter (you can’t have everything).

Sophie Everett

Sophie hales from the United Kingdom with almost ten years dental experience over there and five years in Australia. She joined the practice a few years ago as a Dental Assistant and has moved across into the position of our Treatment Co-ordinator, Front desk supervisor and pretty much any other title we can throw at her. She is likely the voice you will hear when you ring the practice. She moved to Australia five years ago and occupies herself outside of work with renovating her new house.

Mary Ngo

Mary is our main Dental Assistant. She has a degree in Medical Science having worked for over five years as a Cytologist before joining the team. Apart form working assisting in the surgery she also helps out on the front desk and is fluent in Vietnamese.
